chocolaterie: taza - salted almond

I've picked up three of these little rounds already, in the hopes of taking a photo to share with you. They simply haven't made it that far...until this morning.

Taza's chocolates are stone ground in the traditional Mexican style, giving them a loveably nubbly texture, and a fragrant complexity that's quite unlike any other chocolate.

Their Salted Almond is my absolute favorite - the almonds are ground together with the organic, direct-trade cacao beans for a treat that's marvelous blended into a rich hot chocolate, and just as lovely eaten out of hand...

  1. So great to make them in the round! Looks a lot cooler that regular bars of chocolate. And the flavour sounds absolutely divine as well!
