These past few weeks (months...) have been awfully busy around here. The restaurant is off and running and the studio is simply stuffed with nectars, balms and teas.
I haven't been keeping up with the blog as much as I might have liked...and so here we all are, at the beginning of December! I've been trying to take a few moments to reflect on the year that will soon be gone and the new year yet to come.
In less than a month, we will have turned the corner, heading back toward the light, and with it, new hopes and new projects. We've been so incredibly fortunate this year on Rivington Street, we're happy and healthy, we're doing what we love (and dreaming about what's next), and...we have a newly-acquired, long-awaited community garden plot just filled to the brim with sleeping spring bulbs awaiting the awakening of the new year.
In the meantime, we're cozying up with a pot of tea and looking forward to the in-turning essence of the winter, and all the quiet pleasures it has to offer.
Our morning toast is nearly always graced these days with ambrosia from the market (raw honey, bee pollen, propolis & royal jelly) and raw organic coconut butter...
A pot of Fleurs + Cacao is never far away...
And the jasmine waits patiently on the windowsill for its turn to bloom again.
